To the machine administrator

You are responsible for the management of the equipment, such as at the time of
the installation of the scrambler board, the operation of the security function, and
replacing or disposing of it.
When the scrambler board is installed, make sure that you go through the
following 9 items.
1. Backing up and restoring the data in the hard disk drive, and outputting and re-
setting the Function list.
* Perform the above items according to the instructions of your service
technician.
2. Entering the key code for the installation of the scrambler board → → → → → See page 9.
3. Managing the key code (envelope) → → → → → See page 8.
4. Contacting the service technician when "Call for service" appears → → → → → See page

5. Contacting the service technician if the model name and version are not
displayed on the counter menu → → → → → See page 6.
6. Contacting the service technician when replacing or disposing of the

7. Confirming the completion of erasing the data remaining in the hard disk drive
when replacing or disposing of the equipment → → → → → See page 11.
8. Confirming that the service technician is associated with the manufacturer, its
affiliate or sales subsidiary.
9. Note for using "e-Filing function" to store the scanned original in e-Filing → → → → → See
page 12.
After the installation of the scrambler board, make sure that you read and
understand all of the items in this Operator's Manual.
* The machine administrator should be appointed after consideration as to
who would be most able to perform the above items.
