• When electric devices are not used correctly, there is always a
chance of injury!
• Always store the device at a safe place in order to prevent that it
is used incorrectly by mistake.
Personal safety
• The foot sack is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with a physical, sensory or mental restriction, or a
lack of knowledge and experience, except when they are under
supervision or receive instructions about the use of the device by
a person who is responsible for their safety.
• The foot sack is not intended for (sick) pets/animals.
• Check that children do not play with the device.
• Never let persons in need of help, babies, young children or
persons who are insensitive to heat use an electric foot warmer.
• Consult your doctor if there is or may be less saturation of blood
in your feet and legs before using the foot sack.
• Teach older children how they can use the foot warmer safely.
• Never use the foot warmer together with a hot-water bottle etc.
• A foot sack is an electric device. So do not place or use any
fluids nearby in order to prevent an electric shock.
• Do not fall asleep when using the foot sack.
• Long-term use in combination with high set temperatures may
cause blisters and/or burns.
• Always test the temperature with the inside of your pulse.
• Under special circumstances the electric-magnetic fields genera-
ted by the foot sack may affect the functioning of a pacemaker.
If you have a pacemaker, you must always consult your doctor
and the producer of the pacemaker for advice before using the
foot sack.
Product safety
• Only use the foot warmer for what it is intended, that is to say,
as a foot warmer.
• Take care that the cord does not get stuck, folded or that it does
not break.
• Take care that the foot sack is not folded or creased. Do not
switch on the foot sack when it is folded, folded back or creased,
in order to prevent overheating or damage (A).
• Do not prick any pins or other sharp objects in the foot sack (B).
• Do not use the foot warmer when it feels moist or damp (also
ch eck the cord and plug).
• Do not use any spray/aerosol near a switched-on hot foot sack.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket after use.
• Always let the foot sack cool down completely before storing it.
• Do not use any other cord or switch except the ones that are
enclosed.
• Do not roll up the cord during use.
• When in doubt about electric connections, always contact a
recognised technician.
Safety instructions for cleaning and maintenance
• The foot sack must not be washed in the washing machine or
by hand.
• The foot sack may be vacuumed out carefully and aired.
• The foot sack must not be dry-cleaned and is not suitable for
the drier.
• The plug and switch must never come in contact with water or
moisture.
