Installation instructions
Only competent and trained staff (experts) are permitted
to install and repair the Truma product and to carry out the
function test, at the same time observing the installation and
operating instructions and the currently recognised technical
regulations. Experts are persons who, based on their special-
ist instruction and training, their knowledge and experience
with Truma products and the relevant standards, can carry out
the necessary work properly and identify potential hazards.
Residual gas: No smoking, no naked flames!
The gas filter may only be installed in a ventilated gas locker
in accordance with EN 1949.
Pay attention to flow direction and installation position!
The gas filter must always be installed in a vertical position
(filter bowl facing down). Installation of the gas filter must not
adversely affect the secure attachment of the gas pressure
regulator.

If necessary, the optionally available gas filter angle bracket
(part no. 50020-00379) must be used to install the gas filter
(see installation examples).
Use only the supplied original screws when mounting the an-
gle bracket on the gas filter.
The flat seals on the filter connection and on the high-pres-
sure hoses must be properly inserted and must not be
damaged.
Gas filters must be installed free of stress.
Gas filters must not be used as levers.
Only suitable tools may be used. Do not use a pipe wrench.
No alterations may be made to the gas filters.
If only one cylinder is being used in a two-cylinder change-
over system, the free inlet must be closed with the supplied
cap.
When installing the gas filter, the rubber holder with the cap
must be moved from the inlet screw connection of the gas
pressure regulator onto the inlet screw connection of the
gas filter.
The screw connections must be tested for leaks after instal-
lation (using suitable means such as a leak finder spray in
accordance with EN 14291).
