Install the control panel (9) in a place that is protected from
direct heat radiation, damp and wet. The length of the con-
necting cable (10) is 1.5 m (2.5 m).
If flush mounting is not possible, Truma will supply an on-
surface frame (11 – part no. 40000-52600) as an accessory
on request.
Drill a hole 55 mm in diameter. Feed the cable through to the
back and secure the operating unit (9) with 4 screws (12).
Then fit the cover frame (13) on and lay the cable to the fan.
The cable may not lie on the heater, on the fan or in the warm
air duct. Affix the cable in a suitable manner.
Truma offers side parts (14) in eight different colors for finish-
ing the cover frames (13) in a visually pleasing way. Please ask
your dealer.
Installation of the integrated control panel
(only for fan TEB-3)
The installation instructions of the respective heater outline
how to install the integrated control unit. You can also order
the installation instructions from Truma.
The cable leading from the fan to the integrated control
panel is made of heat-resistant silicon and may lie on the
fan and the installation box.

Plug on connector of control panel cable (18). Connect appli-
ance to fused vehicle electrical system with cable 2 x 1.5 mm².
Negative cable to central ground. If connected directly to the
battery, a 5 A automobile flat fuse needs to be fitted into the
plus and minus cable close to the terminals. All connections
should have fully insulated flat connectors (6.3 mm minus,
6.3 mm plus).
Check that the unit is wired correctly – otherwise the
control panel will not function and the fan will rotate in
the wrong direction.
When power packs or power supply units are being
used, note that the output voltage is between 11 V and
15 V and the alternating current ripple is < 1.2 Vpp. We rec-
ommend the automatic chargers from Truma for the different
applications. Please ask your dealer. Other chargers may be
used only with a 12 V battery as a buffer.
