preparing for use

Tip: Clean the cone, sieve, and sieve holder before you use the appliance for the irst time (see
chapter 'Cleaning').
1 Put the plug in the wall socket.
If necessary, wind excess cord round the reel in the bottom of the appliance. To ix the cord,

push it irmly into the opening at the back of the appliance (Fig. 1).
Put the appliance on a irm, level surface outside the reach of children.

Remove the protective cover (Fig. 2).

2 Put a glass under the spout.
Push down the spout to open it (Fig. 3).

Press a halved fruit irmly onto the cone. (Fig. 4)
