Existing Crash Beam Fixings (M8 Bolts)
FITTING
1. Remove Bumper, (6 off Plastic push clips along rear door opening, 2 off screws in each wheel arch, 2 off plastic push
clips on lower edge, 1 off hex head screw on hinge side of door opening, 1 off hex head screw in each lower corner)
Rear Crash Beam, Crash Beam Packers and Side Vents (on outer skin of vehicle).
2. Loosely attach Sidearms (B) and (D) using 3 off Bolts (N) into bottom face of chassis, attach brackets (E) through side
of chassis using remaining bolts (N).
3. Insert Spreader Plates (G1) and (G2) through side vent apertures and secure using bolts (R), remove any mastic to
ensure good mating surface. Note: Inner fixing attaches to plate (E1) and (E2) aswell.
4. Attach crossbar (A) and brackets (J1) and (J2) using fixings (P).
5. Re-attach Crash Beam Packers over brackets (J1) and (J2) using existing bolts (X).
6. Fully Tighten all Fixings and Re-fit crash beam, side vents and bumper.
7. Attach Neck (C) using fixings (S).
Note: Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
