Correct start-up

4.1 Charging the battery

Insert the battery into the handset and connect the mains adaptor to the
lower side of the Orderman Max2 and to the electricity supply. The
rechargeable battery is now charged.
When the handset is switched on, the charging symbol shows
that charging process is underway. It takes around 4 hours to
completely charge the battery. The handset can be used during
the charging process.
After briefly pressing the toolbar of the Max2 touch field, the charging
status of the battery pack is shown. A fully charged battery allows an
operating time of up to 18 hours (regardless of whether automatic shut-
down and backlighting are used - see page 16).
The number of charging cycles for the Orderman Max2 battery is around
1,000 charging cycles. The battery is also subject to natural wear, which
can reduce operating time.
Before first use, charge the battery in the handset for at least 4
hours. For quick charging you can also use the Orderman Max2
charging station (option). In order to do so, follow the advice in
Note
the instructions for using the Orderman Max2 charging station.

4.2 Settings in Orderman setup

Press the Orderman Max2 anywhere on the touch screen, pressing the
on / off button at the same time, until you can see the word "calibrate" at
the top left of the display. Now release the touch and the on / off button
simultaneously. Then press the on / off button again and you will access
the Orderman set up menu.
