If the cable is to be routed through the side, first guide the connecting cable through the base plate and
the side opening on the base plate.
Now fix the base plate in place.
Then fix the camera head in place by attaching the camera cap. The adjustment ring has an opening (A),
which the fixing element can be slotted into. Loosely tighten the fixing screw for the camera cap to allow
you to perform camera orientation.

5.2. Orientation of the camera

Loosen the fixing screw on the camera base plate if necessary. The camera centre section can now
be oriented in three axes. Tighten the fixing screw again when finished.

The effective IR range will depend on the installation location. If there are surfaces that
absorb light or no objects that reflect IR light in the field of view, the IR range will be reduced
and/or the video image will be too dark. Reflective objects in the immediate vicinity of the
camera (e.g. roof gutter or wall) may also result in the reflection of IR light, which can disturb
the image.
With the HDCC32501 & HDCC33500 models, it is important to ensure that the IR LEDs are
not covered by the camera cap, as this could cause reflections.
