Important safety advice
l Carefully study these operating instructions and keep them within easy reach of the operator.
l Keep your workplace tidy. Untidiness at the workplace can lead to accidents.
l Keep the unit clean. Disconnect from the main power supply before cleaning.
l Please make allowances for environmental conditions. Do not use the unit in humid or wet
surroundings, and ensure adequate lighting. Do not allow liquids to penetrate into the interior of
the unit.
l Check the unit before use for any possible damage. Any damaged components must be serviced
or exchanged by WIELAND DENTAL +TECHNIK before the unit is put into operation.
l Check whether the line voltage indicated on the rating plate of the unit matches your voltage
supply. Incorrect values can cause irreparable damage to the unit.
l Do not pull the main power lead to unplug the unit. Do not allow the main power lead to come
into contact with heat, oil or sharp edges.
l Do not open the unit. No parts serviceable by the user are to be found in the interior of the unit.
Make sure that no objects get into the unit through the air vents – this may result in a short
circuit or an electric shock.
l During the heating cycle the unit can reach temperatures of up to 90 °C (194 °F) – do not touch
the hotplate, as this may cause burns.
l Do not use the unit for any other purpose except that for which it is intended, and only use
accessories or attachments recommended by WIELAND DENTAL +TECHNIK.
The AGC
®
Micro was specially developed for use with the AGC
(Order No. 6607) including the brightener additive (Order No. 6674) (CE-0483). Only in this
combination can we guarantee conformity with the Essential Requirement according to
Annex I of the EC Council Directive 93/42/EEC concerning medical devices.
The AGC
®
Micro is intended for an operating voltage of 230V~/50-60 Hz, and 115V~/50-60 Hz.
Keep away from direct sunlight.
The ambient temperature should not exceed 40 °C (104 °F) at a relative humidity of 75 % without
condensation. Please make sure the air vents at the back of the unit are unobstructed. The unit
should be placed on a stable surface.

Note:
Please make sure the power supply is continuously available, i.e. also at night and at weekends
(check night socket, mains power switch, etc.).
