Notes
Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent
crushing and cutting injuries.
The product may not be used as a holding handle. A
separate handle must be installed.
Installation
Instructions
• Prior to installation, inspect the product for transport
damages. After it has been installed, no transport or
surface damage will be honoured.
• The pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushed
and tested as per the applicable standards.
• The plumbing codes applicable in the respective
countries must be observed.
• Connection with flexible hose code nr. 58192000.

When installing a different flush-type fitting than the iBox
universal, DIN EN 1717 requires the pipe interruptor
(DB) to be at least 150 mm above the tub brim.

When assembling the iBox universal with integrated
safety combination (HD) pay attention that the middle of
the mixer is min. 280 mm above the upper edge of the
bath tub.

• Testfilling of the bath tub.
• Flushing of the pipes.
• Pressure test of the pipes between mixer and flush plug
• The residual water jet during pressure test is taken into
account. It shall remind you of closing the mixer after
the pressure test and avoid cross flow at the mixer.
