rectly for your child, to do this see sections 'Headrest and Safety
Harness Adjustment' and 'Harness Tension and Adjustment'.
The car seat is equipped with an seat liner and head hugger (C1)
for small babies.
INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT INTO THE BASE FULLY
RECLINED
Firstly make sure that the seat is in its fully reclined position, then
place the car seat onto the base facing towards the rear of the
vehicle and press the car seat down until you hear a "click" (28).
Check the seat is secure by lifting the seat upwards.
To remove the car seat from the base, at the same time press the
car seat release button (Y) while lifting the car seat up from the
base (18/32).
INSTALLING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR SEAT
Firstly open the buckle by pressing the red button in the centre of
the buckle (42). Then sit your child in the car seat, passing their
arms through the shoulder straps.
Bring the harness connectors together and insert into the buckle
until you hear a "click" (43).
Tighten the harness by pulling on the harness adjustment strap
(44), once tight make sure that there is no more than a fingers
width between the harness and your child.
The child's head should sit directly in the middle of the headrest
and the sides of the headrest should sit just above the child's
shoulders, and the shoulder straps should be level with or below
your child's shoulders (41).
If this is not the case please refer to section 'Headrest and Safety
Harness Adjustment'.

ESSENTIAL FOR YOUR CHILD'S PROTECTION. THERE
SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN A FINGERS WIDTH BETWEEN
THE HARNESS AND YOUR CHILD.
