Coverage / range
The maximum range depends on the field conditions, and is obtained in open spaces.
The maximum range may be limited by environmental factors such as obstacles created by trees, buildings or
other structures. Inside a car or a metal structure, the range may be reduced.
Coverage in towns, where there are buildings or other obstacles, is around 1 or 2 km.
In an open space where there are obstacles such as trees or houses, the maximum range is around 4 to 5 km.
In an open space without obstacles and with clear line of sight, in the mountains for example, coverage may
exceed 12 km.
