1.Do not short-circuit the battery terminals or throw the battery into a fire or a waste bin.
2.Do not attempt to dismantle or open the battery.

Charging the battery

Charge the battery before first using the device. A new battery, or one stored
for more than two months, reaches its full capacity after 2 or 3 charges and
discharges.
1- Plug the charger's power cable into the mains socket.
2- Insert the micro USB port on the side of the walkie-talkie.
3-Make sure that the battery is correctly installed and that the charging terminals are well
connected.
4- The LED around the PTT button lights up in pink and the battery level appears on the walkie-
talkie screen. When the LED indicator turns green / red, it means that the charge is complete. You
can also read 99 on the battery screen.
Caution:
1- Do not recharge the battery if it is already fully charged. This can shorten the battery life or even
damage the battery.
2- If the battery temperature is too high (over 60°C), charging is stopped. Wait for the battery
temperature to go down to start recharging it again.

Battery level indication

Walkie-talkie on, press the "Mode" button 3 times to see the% of the battery level.
Press the "PTT" button to exit.

Installing the belt clip

Use a crosshead screwdriver and the screws provided to attach the belt clip to the back of
the device.
Note: If you have removed the belt clip, it is possible that the screwholes heat up after
long periods of use. This is perfectly normal, since metal conducts heat more efficiently
than the plastic casing.
Installing an external headset / microphone
Pull down the speaker/mic rubber cap to uncover the device's speaker/mic jacks.
Insert the external headset/microphone jacks in the SP / MIC jacks.
Note: The device is no longer water-resistant when the speaker/mic jack is used.
