Page 3 • Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Stößen, Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Chemikalien, starken Temperaturschwankungen und zu nahen Wärmequellen (Öfen, Heizungskörper). • Reparaturen dürfen nur vom Beurer Kundenservice oder autorisierten Händlern durchgeführt werden. Prü- fen Sie jedoch vor jeder Reklamation zuerst die Batterien und tauschen Sie diese gegebenenfalls aus.
Page 4 5. Benutzung 5.1 Gewicht messen Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen ebenen festen Boden (kein Teppich); ein fester Bodenbelag ist Voraussetzung für eine korrekte Messung. Betreten Sie die Waage, diese beginnt sofort mit der Messung. Stehen Sie ruhig auf der Waage mit gleich- mäßiger Gewichtsverteilung auf beiden Beinen. Erscheint die Anzeige dauerhaft, ist die Messung beendet. Wenn Sie die Trittfläche verlassen, schaltet sich die Waage nach einigen Sekunden ab.

Page 12 Body weight / Body mass index The body mass index (BMI) is a number that is often called upon to evaluate body weight. The number is calculated from body weight and height, the formula is – body mass index = body weight : height². The measurement unit for BMI is [kg/m²].

Page 16 5. Utilisation 5.1 Pesée Posez la balance sur un sol plan et stable (sans tapis ni moquette) ; une surface ferme est la condi- tion préalable à une mesure exacte. Montez sur le pèse-personne pour débuter la mesure aussitôt. Restez immobile sur le pèse-personne avec en répartissant votre poids de manière égale entre les deux jambes. Quand l‘indication reste affichée longtemps, la mesure est terminée.

Page 22 5. Utilización 5.1 Medir el peso Coloque la balanza sobre un suelo firme y plano (no una alfombra); el recubrimiento firme del suelo es una condición necesaria para una medición correcta. En cuanto se suba a la báscula, esta empezará inmediatamente la medición. Apóyese cuidadosamente sobre la báscula repartiendo bien el peso entre las dos piernas. Si aparece la indicación de forma durade- ra, la medición ha terminado.

Modalità d‘uso 5.1 Misurare il peso Collocare la bilancia su un pavimento piano e solido (non su un tappeto); un rivestimento solido del pavimento è il presupposto per una misurazione corretta. Salire sulla bilancia, la misurazione viene immediatamente avviata. Restare fermi sulla bilancia cercando di distribuire il peso in modo uniforme sulle gambe. Quando l‘indicazione è fissa, la misurazione è stata com- pletata.
