Station buttons 1-6 (13-18)
• If you briefly push these buttons, you can select a station you have pre-set.
• If you want to store a station you are listening to, simply push the desired button for approx. three seconds.
Every one of the three FM ranges (FM1-3) has six radio station buttons. Therefore you can assign
18 station buttons.

• Keep this button pushed to activate automatic station search. All stations that can be received well are automatically
stored for the station buttons 1-6 (13-18).
• After this procedure, the stored stations are played for a few seconds.
• Push this button only briefly to play every saved station for a few seconds (same function as after automatic station
storage).
• To permanently play back a station, push the button F/PS /
• Additionally, this button is also used to operate the hands-free device (for more detail, see chapter "Bluetooth
operation" farther back in these instructions).
AF button (6)
• Press this button briefly to switch the AF function on or off.
• The AF function activates automatic station tracking (see "RDS as reception concept").
• "AF" will be displayed. If the reception of an RDS transmitter station gets weaker or the radio does not receive and
RDS station at all, the display flashes. When a station can be received well, the symbol is displayed continuously.
• When you leave a transmission area, the radio can only switch to a better station when the AF function is activated.
• Keep this button pushed to switch the regional identification on or off.
• The display (4) shows REG ON or REG OFF.
REG ON >> The device only switches to a different frequency with exactly the same program if the signal grows
weaker.
REG OFF >> When the signal grows weaker, the device switches to another transmitter with the same regional
identification but a different programme.
TA button (9)
• Press this button to switch the TA function on or off.
• When you receive a traffic programme station, the display shows TP (traffic programme).
• When you activate the TA function, TA appears in the display as well.
• If a different audio source is being played back (USB playback for instance), the programme is set to mute during
the traffic announcement.
• When you listen to a radio programme at a very low volume, the volume is automatically increased to the minimum
volume set in the menu (TAVOL).
