Before Use
Before Using for the First Time
∙ Remove all adhesive tape and packaging from the interior of the appliance.
∙ Remove the transport protection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape.
∙ Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of
soda added (5 ml to 0.5 liter of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell
may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
∙ Allow 1 inch of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator from any
surrounding walls for proper air ventilation. Adjust the feet to keep the refrigerator level.
∙ For good circulation, the vent at the back of the unit must not be blocked. Your
Refrigerator should be placed on flat and firm surface for quieter operation.
∙ Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight or a heat source such as ovens,
radiators, heaters, etc.
∙ Do not under any circumstances place heated beverages in your Refrigerator.
∙ Do not open the door more often than necessary to lessen the escape of cold air.
∙ For better air circulation, do not overfill the unit.
∙ Adjust the temperature regulator according to the amount of product and the
ambient temperature.
∙ Turning it to maximum will cause it to run continuously and ice up. Avoid the
maximum setting.
