For an optimal installation, position the valve on a plywood backing attached the adjacent 2x4 studs. Wood screw/Vis à bois BEFORE FIXING THE VALVE ONTO THE PLYWOOD BACKING, (not supplied / non fournies) MAKE SURE IT IS LEVEL.
- Page 5 TURBO-Totem T-12123 Connecting the water Ensure all piping is free from debris and dirt to prevent blockage in the mixer. The hot water inlet should always feed the check valve with a cross marking (normally on the left), the cold water inlet feeds the check valve with a line marking (normally on the right).
- Page 6 TURBO-Totem T-12123 Wall oppening Ouverture du mur For an easy maintenance of the valve components after installation, the wall opening should be as ø[50.00] indicated on fig.4 (The aternate wall opening 2” solution illustraded in 4B is only valid when planning to use the single trim plate on the finished wall).
- Page 7 Care Entretien To clean your Aquabrass faucet or accessories, wash with a wet nonabrasive soapy cloth. Then wipe dry with a soft towel or cloth. We recommend this be done on a regular basis. DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE, CHEMICAL OR CORROSIVE, POWDER OR ANY OTHER STRONG CLEANERS INCLUDING DETERGENTS, WINDOW CLEANERS AND DISINFECTANTS ON YOUR Aquabrass PRODUCT as they will destroy the finish and therefore VOID THE WARRANTY.
- Page 8 - Aquabrass polished chrome and brushed nickel finishes are warranted for the life of the product to the original purchaser. All other finishes will be waranted for five years (Satin Nickel Natural [#210] is designed to develop a patina over time). Raw Brass (#400) is a living finish for which there is no warranty. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.
