V Precautions when making connections
o Do not turn the unit on until after making all connections .
o Carefully read the manuals of the devices that you are connecting and
follow their instructions when making connections .
FM antenna connector

Extend the FM antenna and fix it in the position
where the reception is best (on a window frame or
wall, for example) .
AM antenna connector

Assemble the included AM loop antenna and con-
nect it to the AM antenna jack on the back of the
unit .
Place the antenna in the position that provides the
best AM reception .

Assembling the AM antenna
To assemble the AM antenna, turn the base in the direc-
tion of the arrow . Then, insert the hook at the bottom of
the loop into the slot in the base .
