Articulators are furnished with
an Orbitale Indicator as an anatomical simulation
of the patient's infra-orbitale notch. The top of the
Anterior Patient Reference (orbitale pointer) on
the Spring-Bow shall be aligned to the underside
of this Orbitale Indicator, Figure 14A.

Should the Articulator not be equipped with an
Orbitale Indicator, the top of the Anterior Patient
Reference will be aligned to an acceptable sub-
stitute–the bottom of the Mounting Plate, Figure
14B.

age position at the side of the Bow.
15. The Bitefork index must be adequately supported
before placement of the maxillary cast and stone
or plaster mounting to the Articulator.

maintain its position when adding the cast weight
and stone mix, Figure 15.
