6.1 R

EMOVING THE
OWER
-
Clamp the tool in a vice with plastic jaws on its pistol grip <1>.
Caution!
Do not damage the rubber coating of the grip.
-
Loosen housing <71>/<101> by turning counterclockwise using a
strap wrench.
-
Pull off housing and pulse unit.
-
Remove countersunk screw <15> and reverse button <14>.
-
Knock pistol grip housing on soft surface and take power unit parts
out.

ISASSEMBLY
-
Lift the plastic trigger button <25> out with 2 screwdrivers.
-
Loose the plug <24> with pin wrench <E> (pitch 11 mm, diameter
2 mm) counterclockwise.
-
Pull the loosened valve unit vertically down and out.
-
Take pieces completely out.

SSEMBLY
Caution!
To prevent damage to the sealing and O-rings, grease
them prior to assembly with grease (Order No. 914392).
Be sure to assemble the parts in the sequence shown on
the spare parts drawing.
-
Install the O-ring <26> and the air distributor <27>.
-
To be able to push the pin into the bore on the pistol grip housing,
the radial auxiliary bore of the air distributor must be aligned with
the centre of the switch-over groove.
-
Press the roller bearing <29> together with the rotor cover <30>
onto the rotor <34> using <D> (8. Assembly Instructions,
figs. 6 + 7). Then install it in the pistol grip housing.
-
Assemble reverse button <14> and suspension bail <15>.
-
Insert rotor cylinder <32> with shear keys <31> into pistol grip
housing.
-
Insert the blades into the rotor grooves.
-
Put the rotor cover and the ball bearing into the pistol grip housing.
-
Assemble sleeve <37>.
Caution!
When installing the screen <8>/<11>, be sure the circlip
<9>/<12> is lying flat on the screen.

ISASSEMBLY
Allowed only if filling with oil filling unit <A> can be
guaranteed. The pulse unit must have cooled down to
room temperature.
Caution!
Be sure retaining rings are not extended excessively
-
With quick-disconnect attachment first remove <107> - <103>.
-
Place the pulse unit with the motor seat slot into the fixture <C1>
and clamp it in a vice (8. Assembly Instructions, fig. 1).
To avoid endangering health or the environment, study
and comply with all Federal, State and Local Regulations.
Avoid direct skin contact when working with oil to prevent
skin irritations.

Remove the set bolt <68>/<98> and the ball <67>/<97>.
-
Loosen the bearing ring <66>/<96> with the device <C2>.
-
Remove the bearing ring above an oil pan and pull the hydraulic
rotor <59>/<92> from the housing.
Hydraulic roller is spring-loaded!
-
Clean all parts
Caution!
Always only use original spares from CLECO. Use of
foreign spares entitles the manufacturer of the tool to void
the warranty.
6.5 A
SSEMBLY OF THE
Caution!
To prevent damage to the sealing and O-rings, grease
them prior to assembly with grease (Order No. 914392).
-
Reassemble by reversing the disassemby process as shown
(7. Spare parts exploded view).
-
Install the O-ring <64>/<94> on hydraulic rotor <59>/<92>.
-
Push the washer <63>/<93> and the bearing ring <66>/<96> onto
the long shaft end.
-
Insert the hydraulic rotor into the fixture <C2> with the long shaft
end.
-
Insert the compression springs <54>/<85> and the hydraulic
rollers <55>/<88>.
-
Press the hydraulic roller manually against the force of the spring
into the groove and slide the hydraulic sleeve <52>/<85> on top
(8. Assembly Instructions, fig. 2).
Hydraulic roller is spring-loaded!
-
Push the leaf springs <56>/<89> and the control blades <57>/
<90>, <58>/<91> into the narrow groove.
-
Align the long pin end of the control blade <58>/<91> to the pin in
the hydraulic sleeve <52>/<85> (fig. 3).
-
Push the washer <50>/<83> with the pin <51>/<84> onto the
sleeve <52>/<85>.
Caution!
The control slides at the facing surface of the disk points
towards the slots in the rotor
-
Slide the housing <47>/<80> over the preassembled parts (fig. 4).
-
Turn round the pulse unit <39>/<72> and insert it in the fixture
<C1>.
-
Tighten the bearing ring <66>/<96> with the fixture <C2> to the
required torque (fig. 5).
-
Push parts <46> - <41> (
the hydraulic cylinder <47>/<80> and secure them with the circlip
<40>/<73>
-
Fill the unit with oil as described in 6.4.
-
After filling with oil, seal the pulse unit with ball <67>/<97> and bolt
<68>/<98>.
