Safety instructions

We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury if the product has been abused in any way or damaged by
improper use or failure to observe these operating instructions. The warranty will then expire!
The icon with exclamation mark indicates important information in the operating instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions
before operating the device, otherwise there is risk of danger.
4.1.

Product safety

The product must not be exposed to substantial mechanical stress.
Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, excessive humidity, dampness, dust, easily inflammable gases, vapours or
solvents.
This device left the factory in perfect condition in terms of safety engineering. To maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, the user must comply with the
safety instructions and warnings contained in these operating instructions.
Only a mains socket for the public supply grid (230V~ 50Hz) may be used as the power source for the power adapter plugs. Never try to operate the appliance on
any other voltage.
Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between the camera system equipment and accessory appliances that are to be connected conform
to regulations and comply with the operating instructions.
Never put the appliance into operation immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation arising could destroy the appliance.
Allow the appliances to reach room temperature before switching them on.
4.2.

Personal safety

The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children and pets!
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since this may become a dangerous toy for children.
The camera cannot replace the personal supervision of a child or those in need of care etc., although it can be used to support this.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other appliances that are connected to the device.
Consult a specialist if you have doubts about how the equipment operates, its safety or the connection of the devices.
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are removed (unless this can be done without tools). Contact points can also be live. Before
calibrating, servicing, repair work or the replacement of parts or assemblies, the appliance must be disconnected from all sources of current if it has to be opened.
If the appliance has to be kept open and under voltage during maintenance or repairs, this work may only be carried out by a specialist who is familiar with the risks
involved and the relevant regulations.
Never connect or disconnect power plugs with wet hands.
Never pull the cables of the plug-in power units. Always pull the plug-in power unit out of the socket by its housing.
For safety reasons, always disconnect the plug-in power units from the mains socket during electrical storms.
When setting up the appliance, make sure that the connection cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
Never replace damaged connecting cables yourself. In such cases, disconnect the plug-in power units from the mains and take them to a specialist workshop.
If you have reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the appliance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. Reasons
to assume that safe operation is no longer possible include:

The product being visibly damaged.

The device no longer functioning.

The product having been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time.
-
The product having been subjected to considerable stress during transport.
4.3.

Miscellaneous

In commercial institutions, observe the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance Associations for Electrical Systems and Operating
Materials.
In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, handling of electrical appliances must be carried out or supervised by qualified and responsible
personnel.
Servicing, adjustment or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/ specialist workshop.

Unpack all parts from the carton box.
4.
Identify the following parts: a) Camera; b) Din cable; c) Power
adaptor
5.
The cable supplied has one end with a DIN connector and the
other end with RCA V output and power jack.
6.
Slowly insert the DIN plug into the back of the camera being
careful to align the DIN plug correctly.
7.
Lay the cable to your television or monitor and locate your video
jacks.
8.
Insert the YELLOW plug (2) into the "video in" port.
9.
Plug the power supply into a wall outlet and the other end into
the remaining RED plug (3).
10.
Turn the TV on and tune in the video mode the camera is
a)
connected to.
