Intended use

The product's intended field of application is the visual surveillance of buildings. It is used for the surveillance and security of concealed or critical areas (such as shop
surveillance or in entrance areas etc.). Please remember that it is illegal to keep persons under observation with this camera without their knowledge and approval. The
picture and sound transmission to the surveillance monitor goes via a cable connection. Due to the integrated IR lighting (infrared), operation is possible even in absolute
darkness. For further processing of the picture signals (V), for example to record on a VCR, the signals can be tapped at the TFT monitor. The camera is only licensed for
connection to the supplied plug-in power adapter. This camera is not suitable for industrial use.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product are inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Any use other than that described above could
lead to damage to this product and to risks of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or converted. Do not open the housing. The
safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Explanation of symbols

The lightning symbol with arrowhead within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of non-insulated voltage within the device's
enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electrical shock to persons.
This symbol indicates important information in the operating instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions before operating the device,
otherwise there is risk of danger.
This symbol indicates special information and advice on operation of the device.
The device is only authorised for use in dry, sheltered environments.
The product is constructed in compliance with protection class II (double or extra insulation).
