Manual tuning
•
Turn the function selector (6) to TUNER and then select desire band
(AM, FM or FM-stereo) with the- BAND/FM-ST selector (10).
•
Tune to the desired station by turning the tuning knob (18).
•
Use the volume knob (19) to adjust the volume level.
FM & FM-stereo reception
•
Set the BAND/FM-ST selector (10) to FM. Programs are received in
mono mode. In particular when stereo signals are weak, it might be
preferable to receive the program in mono.
•
Set the BAND/FM-ST selector (10) to FM-ST to receive stereo programs.
The BAND/FM-ST LED will light up to indicate FM stereo program is
received.
Hints for best reception
•
AM : The receiver has a built-in AM bar antenna. If AM reception is
weak, slight rotation or re-positioning of the unit will usually improve
the reception.
•
FM : The receiver has a build-in FM wire antenna hanging from the rear
cabinet. This wire should be un- raveled and extended completely for
best reception.
PLAYBACK OF CD / USB / SD / MP3
Set the function selection button (6) to "CD/USB/SD" and press "Open/
close" (27) to open the CD compartment. Insert a CD with the printed side
facing up and close the door. The CD is searched and the display shows the
number of tracks and the playing time.
•
Press "Play/pause/stop" (16) to start playing the first track.
•
To interrupt playback, press "Play/pause/stop" (16). The playback time
stops. To resume playback press "Play/pause/stop" (16) again.
•
If you press and hold "Play/pause/stop" (16) for more than 2 seconds
the playback will be stopped.
•
Press "skip up" (24) during playback to change to the next track. During
playback press "skip down" (13) the unit will change to the beginning
of the current track. For fast forward/rewind hold down the respective
arrow button.
