Attaching guide bar and chain

Unscrew the handwheel 5 and re-
move the chain sprocket cover 3.
Warning! The saw chain 7 is
very sharp! Wear protective
gloves. Risk of injury!
(1.) Put the saw chain 7 into the

guide bar 6 in the right running
direction. (2.) Fit the guide bar
6 into the chain saw. Place the
chain 7 around the sprocket. (3.)
Straighten the chain 7 with the
chain tensioning wheel 4.
Fill in chain oil

Unscrew the oil tank cover 18
and carefully fill the oil tank 12
to the MAX mark. Screw the
cover 18 back on.
Chain brake

Pull the hand guard 8 towards
the handlebar 1 to deactivate
the chain brake.
Warning! Make sure that the
chain brake works properly.

Turn the chain tensioning wheel
4 to move the guide bolt a.
Caution! When attaching the
chain 7, observe the running
direction!
Ensure that the saw chain 7

slides freely in the guide bar 6
and can be pulled 2-4 mm off
at its middle. Attach the chain
sprocket cover 3 and tighten
the handwheel 5.
Insert Battery

Press the charged battery into
the insertion slot 17 until it
clicks into place.
To remove, press the release
button (1.) and pull out the bat-
tery (2.).
Switching on/off

Deactivate the chain brake,
press and hold the release but-
ton 16. Press the On/Off switch
15 and release the release but-
ton 16. Release to switch off.
