5.2 Cleaning
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (to be carried out every day)
It is essential to clean the inside of the dishwasher:
• Remove the filters from the tank and clean them
• Do not use acidic, corrosive or abrasive products, nor steel brushes to clean the device.
• Wait for the surfaces of the appliance to cool before cleaning the exterior. Use a sponge and non-foaming,
non-acidic and non-abrasive products.
Do not use water jets or steam devices for cleaning
• Check that the nozzles on the washing and rinsing arms are not blocked; if necessary, unblock them. The
wash and rinse arms can be easily removed without the need for tools, by simply unscrewing the upper and
lower pivots.
• At the end of cleaning, leave the cover open to dry the inside of the appliance and to prevent the
formation of unpleasant odors.
• To guarantee washing hygiene, disinfect the appliance at least once a week using specific disinfectants
and ending the operation with repeated vacuum rinsing for a few minutes.
In all cleaning operations, NEVER use products that could form foam in the dishwasher.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (to be performed every 2 weeks)
• After a certain period of operation, the presence of calcium and magnesium salts in the water causes the
formation of scale which can compromise the correct functioning of the dishwasher.
Call on qualified personnel for descaling.
• Check that the safety devices are functioning correctly.
NOTE
In the event of a fault, unplug the appliance, let it cool down and contact your dealer. If the device does not
start, check your power cord. The device should not be plugged into a multiple socket, but directly to a wall
outlet. For any other anomaly, contact your dealer.
NOTE
Waste from used devices: any used device must, when disposing of it, comply with the regulations in force
in its country *. It is essential to make the device unusable before disposal by removing the power supply
cable.
