General safety instructions
When using a power tool, basic safety measures

putting the appliance into operation.

The appliance has not been designed to be used by
persons (including children) with reduced physical,

Children should be supervised to make sure they do
not play with the appliance. Always tell children and

Before putting the appliance into operation, a
qualified electrician must check that the required
electrical safety measures are taken.
In doing so, national regulations must be complied
with.
Electrical connection must be provided through a
socket.
Care must be taken to make sure the connecting
socket is away from water and moisture and the
plug is protected against moisture.
Check the voltage. The technical specifications on
the type plate must correspond with the mains
voltage.
Before putting the appliance into operation, check
the electric cable and/or socket for damage.
To avoid danger, a damaged power cable must be
replaced by the manufacturer. Do not repair the
cable yourselves under any circumstances.
If the appliance starts abnormally vibrating, turn off
the engine and locate the cause immediately.
Vibrations are usually a warning against a
malfunction.
Keep the place of your work clean and tidy!
A mess in the place of work can result in injuries.
Consider the environment
Do not expose the appliance to rain.
Do not use the appliance in moist or wet conditions.
Provide adequate lighting.
Do not use the appliance near flammable liquids or
gases.
Protect yourself against electric shock!
Avoid body contact with earthed parts.
Keep other persons in safe distance!
Do not let other persons, especially children, to
touch the appliance or cable. Do not let them
access the place of your work.
Store your tools and appliances!
Tools and appliances not being used must be kept
in a dry, locked place and out of reach of children.
Do not overload your appliance!
You will work better and safer within the specified
output range.
Use the right appliance!
Do not use appliances with weak performance for
hard work. Do not use the tool for purposes for
which it has not been designed.
Wear appropriate work clothing!
Do not wear loose clothing or jewels as they could
get caught by the rotating parts.
Non-slip shoes are recommended for outdoor
works. Wear a hairnet if you have long hair.
Use protective equipment!
Always wear safety glasses.
Use a breathing mask for works where dust is
produced.
