make sure no food remains or fat can get on
the sharpening stones.
Connect the knife sharpener to mains.
Press On/Off with your left thumb.
Use your right hand to hold firmly the knife you
want to sharpen. Caution! Keep your fingers
away from the blade so that you do not get
injured.
Drag the blade slowly for 3-4 seconds with
slight pressure, three times in turn through the
blade slot "1" for coarse sharpening (pic. 2, 3)
and then three times in turn through the blade
slot "2" for fine sharpening (pic. 4,5).

Start with the end of the blade, i.e. where the
blade joins the handle and slowly move the
knife towards you. Make sure to apply constant
pressure on the knife so that the blade remains
in constant contact with the sharpening disc.
Sharpen the knife with one move, do not stop
half way. When being sharpened, the knife
blade should be passing in parallel to the table.
Check the result and repeat the process if
necessary until reaching the required
sharpness.
Knife sharpness can best be checked by cutting
a tomato in two or cutting off a piece of paper.
Press On/Off to stop the sharpening disc.
You must be very careful when handling knives
being sharpened! Make sure only the knife blade
comes into contact with the rotating sharpening
disc. Never put fingers or items other than knives
that you want to sharpen to the rotating sharpening
disc.
