MATERIALS
A 1 Centre Mount with international facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 4 M14 x 35 x 1.5mm Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
E 2 Side Plates
E1 2 Spacer Plates
F 2 M10 x 130 x 1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers (20mm O.D.) and Large Flat Washers
(50mm O.D.)
F1 4 Bushes (87mm Long, 22mm O.D.)
G 4 M10 x 90 x 1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers (20mm O.D.) and Large Flat Washers
(40mm O.D.)
G1 4 Bushes (55mm Long, 22mm O.D.)
CB 2 M16 x 50 x 2.0mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
CP 1 10mm Coupling Packer
Z 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
FITTING
1. Remove 3 plastic blanking covers from bumper. Remove bumper (1 bolt each side and 2 nuts in centre).
2. Loosely attach Side Plates (E) and Spacer Plates (E1) to inside faces of chassis using Bolts (F) and (G), with
Bushes (F1) and (G1) inside frame. NOTE: If vehicle has a spare wheel hanger on the rear door Side Plates (E)
are not used.
3. Attach Centre Mount (A) to captive nuts in rear cross member using Bolts (D). Tighten all bolts.
4. Re-fit bumper. Cut centre blanking cover as shown below and re-fit.
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
