3. Programming the transmitter
Caution
When programming the transmitter, ensure that the range of travel of
the folding-arm awning is unobstructed, as it may extend immediately.
Note
Before programming the SC211-II, a master transmitter (e.g., SWC241-
II) must be programmed to the receiver (e.g., tubular drive R30/17C
PSF(+)) and the limit positions must be programmed.
The SC211-II is supported by Becker-tubular drives type ( Ø45,
Ø58) CPSF(+) starting with serial no. 0902...as well as VC420-II and
VC470-II.
Programming the SC211-II
The SC211-II has an integrated radio transmitter.
1) After programming the master transmitter, set the wind threshold to the high-
est possible setting, since high values may be detected by the SC211-II due
to the handling during installation. Accordingly, this may lead to an undesired
retraction of the awning.
2) Open the SC211-II.
3) Press the programming button of the master transmitter until the receiver
confirms.
4) Press the programming button of the SC211-II until the receiver confirms.
5) Now press the programming button of the SC211-II to be programmed again
until the receiver confirms.
6) Close the SC211-II.
7) Now set the wind threshold as described in Section "4. Setting the
thresholds".
The maximum radio range on and in the building is 10 m and in the open field
100 m.
