Guarantee
We provide a 5 year guarantee based on normal use. The invoice on which
the date of purchase is stated serves as a certificate of guarantee. In the
event of any faults or malfunctions, please contact the store from which you
purchased the bed.
Assembly / installation
First of all, you should check whether all the parts
have been supplied by referring to the summary on
the left-hand side of the folder.
1. Turn the base upside down. Screw the feet or
wheels onto the legs and attach these to the base.
Use 1 screw for each leg.
2. Attach all the plastic corner attachments to the
base.
3. Lay out the support sections of the bed in the
correct order but leave section III aside for the time
being.
4. Position the base in such a way on the sections
that the section attachment points are exactly above
the corner attachments. Make sure that no cables get
caught.
5. Secure the base to the support sections, placing
the 12 screws through the corner attachment points.
Fasten the 4 screws on each section by hand before
tightening.
6. Pull the cable of the massage motor on support
section I through the two clips above the Ventronic
box on section II. Fix the cable in one of the clips in
the series on section III. It is important that the remain-
ing cable hangs freely between the clips on support
sections I and II. Do not fix the cable yet.
Then pull the cable from the massage motor on
section IV through the four clips on the base. Fix this
cable in one of the ports in the series on section III but
do not yet fix the cable.
Lastly, pull the cable from the Ventronic on section II
to the ports in the series on section III. Once again, do
not yet attach the cable.
7. Place the bed on its legs and attach two 9 volt bat-
teries to the drive box. Now insert the cables into the
various contact points on the drive box.
8. Assemble support section III using 4 screws. Then
attach the end board using 4 screws. The storage
pouch can be attached to either one of the sides of
section 1 using 2 screws. You can decide which side
yourself.
9. Place the mattress and the top mattress on the
support sections. Now you can plug the bed into the
mains.

Using the remote control
First place the batteries (2 x LR6/AA) in the remote control. If you
need to change the batteries, you have two minutes before the stored
settings are lost.
The remote control is fully menu-operated. This means that all func-
tions are clearly indicated in the menu window. The window's back-
ground lighting goes out 5 seconds after you have pressed a button.
The remote control will switch off completely 15 seconds later.
All the functions work in the same way:
Buttons A and D are used to increase or decrease a setting and to
navigate though the menu.
The OK button is used to accept a setting.
Buttons B and C are used to cancel the current programme and to
reset.
Navigate downwards to 'PREVIOUS' to return to the main menu.
In the event of a power cut, the bed can be lowered by pressing the
small button on the plug. However, in order for this to work, two 9 volt
batteries must have been installed on the drive box under support
section III. If you use this function, you must replace the batteries in
order to be sure that the function will operate again should another
power cut occur.
How to activate the menu
Upon delivery, the buttons of the remote control are blocked. Activate
the main menu by pressing the OK, A and D buttons in rapid
succession.
Blocking buttons
In order to reduce the risk of accident you can block the buttons.
Press any button to activate the menu background lighting. Press the
A, C, D and B buttons in rapid succession and select 'KEYPAD LOCK'
using the OK button. Use the OK button to turn the blocking ON or
OFF.
Configuring the remote control
Check whether the bed is connected to the mains. In order to
programme and set the remote control you have to press the green
button on the bed's plug. Within two minutes you then have to perform
the following actions using the remote control. Press any button to turn
on the menu background lighting. Press the A, C, D and B buttons in
rapid succession and select 'CONFIGURE' using the OK button. The
screen will then display 'SELECT CHANNEL TO START CONFIGURA-
TION'. Press the OK button to choose between channels 1, 2, 3 and
4. Use the A and D buttons to navigate. Confirm your choice using
the OK button. If you want to be able to operate two or more beds
separately in the same room, you must select different channels. The
screen will display 'CONFIGURATION OK' and the remote control will
then have been programmed for this particular bed.
