4 Getting Started

4.1 Charging the blood pressure module's
battery
The CardioDock blood pressure module has an
integrated lithium ion battery (3,7 V — - -- , 1750 mAh).
a. The CardioDock's battery is charged using the mains
adapter supplied. Insert the micro USB plug on the
connecting cable into the charging socket on the
reverse of the CardioDock.
b. Avoid overcharging the battery or letting it run
down completely as this shortens the battery's
service life. You can see the degree of charge when
the CardioDock is connected with the iPhone. We
recommend charging the battery when its charge
level drops below 25% and stop charging once the
battery is completely charged by pulling out the USB
cable.
