2. CONNECTIONS
1. Connect the coil cord to the opening on the
right hand side on the bottom of your unit.
2. Connect one end of the telephone line to the
opening on the left hand side of the bottom of
your unit. Connect the other end to the tele-
phone wall outlet.
3. OPERATION
3.1. MUTE FUNCTION
When you press the Mute button during your con-
versation, your partner can no longer hear you as
long as you keep this button pressed. The button
of your unit is temporarily disconnected but you
can still hear your conversation partner.
3.2. LAST NUMBER REDIAL
The last number dialled on the keypad is saved. If
you wish to redial this number, pick up the receiv-
er and press the redial button: the last number
dialled is redialled automatically.
3.3. R-BUTTON
The R-Button, also called flash or recall. This button
generates a line interruption. It gives you the pos-
sibility to use certain telephone services.
3.4. MEMORIES
Your telephone has 10 memories (0 – 9). Each
memory location can contain a telephone number
of maximum 16 digits.

3.4.1. SAVING MEMORY NUMBERS
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling
tone.
2. Press the set button and dial the telephone num-
ber that you wish to save.
3. Press the set button again.
4. Choose a memory location by pressing a numer-
ical button (0 to 9).
5. Put down the receiver.
3.4.2. DIALLING A MEMORY NUMBER
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling
tone.
2. Press the memory button followed by the mem-
ory location where the desired telephone num-
ber has been saved (0-9).
3. The telephone number is now dialled automati-
cally.
3.4.3. CHANGING A MEMORY NUMBER
When you wish to change a memory number, the
same instructions as for the saving of a memory
number have to be followed. When you enter the
new memory number, the old number will be
replaced automatically.
3.5. PAUSE SETTING
If necessary you can program a pause of 3,5 sec-
onds in the memory numbers:
1. Pick up the receiver and wait for the dialling
tone.
2. Press the set button.
3. Dial the number to request for the external line.
4. Press the pause button (a pause of 3,5 seconds
is inserted).
5. Dial the telephone number
6. Press the set button followed by a memory
place number (0-9)
