1) Instal la tion :
The interface should be installed in a place without any electrical
interference and the higher possible. Under no circumstances the
interface should be directly fixed on a metallic or reinforced concrete wall.
It can be fixed indoor or outdoor.
Remove the box cover.
Fix the box to the chosen place, with the cable glands on the bottom,
using the pins and screws provided.
For box tightness, replace screw covers after installation.
2) Elec tri cal connec tions
DHF/AFNOR interface must be powered with 230V ±10%.
Pass the cables through the cable glands.
Connect 230 Volt power supply to the power terminal board (C): live wire
and neutral wire (wire with maximum cross section of 2.5 mm2 and
stripped over 5 mm). As the device is of class II, it does not need to be
grounded. The power cable conductors must be fixed to one another with
the cable clamp provided (S) near their terminal boards, to prevent a
reduction in insulation if one of the terminals should become loose.
Connect the slave clocks to the output terminal (Out).
There is no polarity to respect.
3) Set ting and ope ra ting
DHF/AFNOR requires no setting.
DHF/AFNOR interface receives DHF radio message and convert it into
AFNOR signal in conformity with NF S 87-500A standard.
The electronic card is protected by a 200mA fuse (F1).
DHF reception and AFNOR emission cannot be achieved in the same
time but successively. During DHF reception, there is no AFNOR and
vice versa. AFNOR emission occurs 10 seconds after a DHF
synchronization.
One green LED (V) indicates that the power is present.
One red LED (R) indicates that the interface is emitting AFNOR.
The interface is preset and delivered in "initialization" mode. It is possible
to reset the interface in "initialization" mode by pushing the button (B)
during 3 seconds. In "initialization" mode (INIT), a yellow LED flashes on
the DHF receiver card.
