Congratulations on your purchase of this CD Boombox
with microphone and funny stickers for decoration. To
get the most from your product, please take a few min-
utes to read these instructions and to show your children
the different functions.
Read and follow this manual and safety precautions
carefully before use. Please retain instruction and
packaging since they contain important information.
Safety & Warnings
Warnings. When the product is for children under 5
years old, it should be supervised by an adult. All ma-
terials for fastening or packing purposes are not part of
the toy and should be discarded for children's safety.
Do not expose the product to temperatures above 35°C
and keep it in moderate climates. Keep the product away
from heated surfaces. No naked flame sources, such as
lighted candles, should be placed on the product. This
product is not waterproof. The apparatus shall not be ex-
posed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed near the product.
Dry location use only. Keep at least 5 cm of space around
the unit for sufficient ventilation.The ventilation should
not be impeded by covering the ventilation opening with
items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtain etc. Regu-
larly examine the product for damage to the cord, battery
compartment, enclosure and other parts, and in the event
of such damage, it must not be used until the damage has
been repaired.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Don´t mix new and old, different styles, alkaline and re-
chargeable and different capacity batteries. Replace only
with the same or equivalent type. There is danger of ex-
plosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Non-recharge-
able batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batter-
ies are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from
the product.To avoid battery leakage remove batteries in
case they are not used for a longer time. If batteries are
damaged, they should be disposed of carefully. Do not
dispose of the batteries to heat source to avoid explosion.
Never throw them into fire! The supply terminals are not
to be short-circuited. Do not connect the device to more
than the recommended number of power supplies. Bat-
teries are to be replaced by an adult. Attention should be
drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
The toy shall only be used with a transformer for toys,
e.g. according to EN 61558. The transformer must be
regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclo-
sure and other parts, and in the event of such damage, it
must not be used until the damage has been repaired. Pro-
tect the power cord from being walked on or pinched par-
ticularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus. When the unit is not
operated by the AC power or unused for a long period
of time, please remove the power adapter from the wall
outlet and unplug from the main unit. The terminals on
the small end of DC plug on the power cord must not be
short-circuited during usage. The transformer is not a toy.
Warnings. Not suitable for children under three years.
Misuse of transformer can cause electrical shock.
Choking hazard due to small parts. Strangulation hazard due
to long cable.
Warning. To reduce the risk of fire or
shock hazard, do not expose this prod-
uct to rain or moisture. Never open the
cabinet. All maintenance work needs to be conducted by
qualified service personnel.
The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol
within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user of the presence of un-insulated „dangerous volt-
age" within the product's enclosure that may be of suffi-
cient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to
people.
The exclamation point within an equilateral trian-
gle is intended to alert the user of the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instruc-
tion in the literature accompanying the product.
Caution. This compact disc player is
classified as a CLASS 1 LASER prod-
uct. Opening the unit in a way other
than specified herein or making adjust-
ments to the unit may result in hazardous radiation expo-
sure. The CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT label is located
on the CD compartment.
Warning. Risk of invisible laser radiation when
CD lid is open or interlocks defeated. Avoid di-
rect exposure to beam.
How to get started
Installing batteries
Remove the battery cover on the rear of the unit care-
fully by lifting the two snaps on the battery cover (19).
The battery cover can then be lifted away. Insert 4 x 1.5V
C-size batteries (not included), referring to the polarity
markings inside the battery compartment. After that,
please replace the battery cover back onto the unit. We
recommend the use of alkaline batteries.

teries (as indicated in the left column).
