In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these safety instructions the warranty /
guarantee will become void. We will not assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the device but
also for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons
(CE).
The device is constructed according to protection class 1. Only a proper power socket (230V~/50Hz) with a public
power supply system ground contact may be used as a power source.
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be trained and qualified
appropriately and observe these operating instructions.
Never touch the mains plug with sweaty or wet hands. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. Take the device to a specialist workshop
for repair. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge the dangers
involved when handling electrical devices.
Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants on the device or in its vicinity.
Liquids could get into the device and impair the electrical safety. There also is a high risk of fire or of a life-
threatening electric shock. If this is the case, first power the respective socket down (e.g. switch off circuit breaker)
and then pull the mains cable from the socket. After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist
workshop.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
Do not place open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
Consult an expert when in doubt about the mode of operation, safety or connection of the device.
