(12) CROSSFADER REVERSE-SWITCH
With this function, you can invert the Crossfader-channels. In the loose position, channel 1 is on the left
Crossfader-side, in the pressed position, "2-1" channel 1 is on the right Crossfader-side.
(13) CURVE ON/OFF-BUTTON
With the Curve On/Off-button, you can between the Crossfader-modes Soft and Sharp. In the Soft-
mode, the Crossfader fades between the channels in a linear, continuous manner. In the Sharp-mode,
the Crossfader works more logarhytmical, i.e. working faster towards the outer edges.
(14) CROSSFADER-START-BUTTON
Press this button to activate the crossfader.
(15) CROSSFADER
Mixes the signals of one channel with another. If the crossfader is in the center-position, both channels
can be heard at the same volume.
(16) DJ MIC-SOCKET
You can connect microphones with XLR-plug or jack.
(17) TALKOVER-BUTTON
Press this button if you want to use your microphone. When the button is pressed, all signals but the
microphone level are attenuated by 15 dB. In the OFF-position, all signals return to their original level.
(18) DJ MIC ON AIR-BUTTON
Press this button in order to activate the automatic Talkover-function. As soon as you speak into the
microphone, all signals but the microphone level are attenuated by 15 dB.
(19) DJ REC OUT
To connect your recording unit.
(20) MASTER LEVEL DISPLAY
The display shows the level of the left and right master output.
(21) LED CHAIN VIEW-BUTTON
With this button, you can switch the display from Master 1 to Master 2.
(22) MONO/STEREO SWITCH
Used to set the master output to mono or stereo. If you connected a mono-signal via 1 RCA-socket, you
can switch the output signal to STEREO in order to have a stereo output signal.
(23) EFFECT-SEND-BUTTON
With the Effect-Send-button you can send the Master channel to the Effect Send-sockets.
(24) MASTERFADER
Adjusts the level of the master 1 output.
(25) POWER SWITCH
Press this button to start operation.
(26) MASTER 2 CONTROL
Adjusts the level of the master 2 output.
(27) RETURN CONTROL
Used to adjust how much of the signal is returned from the effector.
(28) SEND CONTROL
Used to adjust how much of the signal is sent to the effector.
(29) EFFECT-CUE-BUTTON
Use the Effect-Cue-button in order to monitor the effector.
(30) EFFECT-LOOP-BUTTON
(31) BOOTH BASS-CONTROL
Used to increase or lower the LOWs of the Booth signal.
(32) BOOTH CONTROL
The CM-860 features a DJ BOOTH monitor system. Connect your monitor system with the BOOTH-
sockets on the rear panel.
(33) CUE BASS-CONTROL
Used to increase or lower the LOWs of the Cue signal.
(34) CUE LEVEL-CONTROL
With the Cue Level-control, you can adjust the phones volume without changing the output signal.
(35) HEADPHONES SOCKET
Use this socket to connect the headphones. Headphones from 8 Ohms to 600 Ohms can be used.
(36) CUE SPLIT/CUE MIX BUTTON
Cue Split-function (button pressed): the Cue-signal is on the one side of the headphones and the output-
signal on the other side.
Cue Mix-function (button released): the adjustable mix of Cue-signal and output-signal is on both sides
of the headphones.
(37) CUE MIXING FADER
Connect your headphones to the HEADPHONES socket. With the CUE-buttons, you can select the
