To ensure trouble free installation, please ensure that your computer is connected with an
Ethernet cable to your router when running the installation setup wizard to prevent unexpected
network connection errors. Once the DNS-315 setup process is complete, your computer's
Ethernet cable can then be disconnected again.

6. Flip the cover back to align with the red line on the bracket.
7. Slide the cover downwards.
8. Re-attach the device screws at the bottom of the DNS-315.
9. Remove the ShareCenter CD from the package and insert it
into your computer.
Important: Ensure that your Internet connection is active. Do not
connect any USB storage devices yet.
10. Click the gray Start button on the welcome screen to begin the
Setup Wizard. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Default IP: Determined by DHCP
Default Username: admin
Default Password: (leave this blank)
