Guarantee provisions for press tools from 1 January 2003
The company NOVOPRESS GmbH Pressen und Presswerkzeuge &
Co. KG, Neuss provides a minimum guarantee of two years for press
tools. The guarantee comes into force on the day of delivery of the
appliance to the user. In the event of doubt, this point in time must be
able to be proved on the basis of the purchase documents.
2 year guarantee for new press tools
Within this period the guarantee covers all damage repairs or defects of
the appliance attributable to material or production faults.
Not covered by the guarantee is:
•
Damage attributable to incorrect use, poor maintenance or
incorrect electrical correction;
•
Damage attributable to the use of press jaws, press tools,
accessories or replacement parts that were not originally
provided by Novopress or have been approved by Novopress;
•
Damage caused by the use of non-original press fittings or
objects supplied by a party other than the press-fitting system
provider that approved the relevant press tool, press jaw or press
loop for their system.
After the 2-year guarantee period (from the day of delivery to the user)
no guarantee claims are acceptable.
Guarantee services are provided free of charge.
Travelling costs are borne by the user.
Claims are only acceptable if the appliance is sent to Novopress or a
Novopress workplace in its entirety (not disassembled).
Wearing parts are not covered by these guaranty stipulations.

3 year guarantee for new press appliances, intermediate jaws and
press loops
The guarantee period for press appliances, intermediate jaws and
press loops is increased to 3 years, if these are sent each year to
Novopress or to a Novopress workshop for maintenance. The
maintenance charge is determined using the applicable Scope of
maintenance / prices table.
5 year guarantee for new press jaws
The guarantee period for press jaws, basic jaws and press inserts is
increased to 5 years, if these are sent each year to Novopress or to a
Novopress workshop for maintenance.
Guarantee provisions for repairs and replacement press
tools from 1 January 2003
After expiry of the guarantee period, Novopress provides the following
guarantees in the case of repair or replacement:
•
6 months guarantee for replacement parts
•
12 months guarantee for replaced modules
•
12 months guarantee for replaced press appliances, press jaws,
basic jaws, intermediate jaws, press loops and press inserts
Repair or replacement of the appliance under guarantee does not
result in an extension of the guarantee period. Repair or replacement
can only be performed using as-new components, the function of which
corresponds to that of the old components. Each defective and
therefore replaced component is the property of the manufacturer.
