Gallagher 3E0724 Portable Fence Energizer
Step 2
Connect to earth (ground) system
Using Lead-out Cable G6270 remove 5cm (2") of plas c coa ng from one end of
the cable and a ach to the green terminal on the Energizer. A ach the cable to the
earth system by removing 10cm (4") of insula on from the cable at each Earth Stake,
then clamp the exposed wire to each stake using an Earth Clamp G8760. Tighten the
clamp.
For portable fencing – earth lead is provided.
Step 3
Connect the fence
WARNING: do not turn energizer on
un l a er installa on is complete.
Connect Energizer's red terminal
to the fence using Lead-out Cable
G6270: remove 5cm (2") of plas c
coa ng from one end of the cable
and a ach to the red terminal on
the Energizer. A ach the other end
of the cable to the fence using a
Joint Clamp G6030.
For portable fencing – fence lead is
provided.
Step 4
Connect the ba ery
Connect the ba ery leads from the Energizer to the ba ery: red lead to the (+)
terminal of ba ery, black lead to the (-) terminal of ba ery. Use external 12V deep
cycle lead acid rechargeable ba ery. Do not use non-rechargeable ba eries. During
charging, place lead acid ba eries in a well-ven lated area.
WARNING: do not a empt to connect the ba ery and mains power adapter at the
same me.

Connect to Mains Power Adaptor
This symbol indicates that the separate power supply unit (G40101) was used to power
the Fence Energizer during tes ng. This symbol is located on the outside of the Fence
Energizer near the DC power entry inlet. Using a diff erent power supply unit may void the
approvals and standards met by the Fence Energizer.
