You have bought a maximum-minimum-thermometer for measuring the current temperature as weIl as the
highest and lowest temperature since the last reset.
The thermometer is splash water proof and can be installed outside to measure the outdoor temperature.
You can also use it for the temperature control of living rooms, the greenhouse, wine-cellar, warehouse or
freezer.

Attention: Used batteries have to be put in the specially reserved collecting receptacles
Installation:
To install the thermometer outside choose a shady and dry place, inside avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
Hang up the thermometer by one or two screws using the holes at the backside.
Use:
Open the battery compartment and remove the battery safety strip. Pull off the protection foil on the display.
The unit is now ready to use.
The middle display shows the current temperature. The upper display shows the maximum and the lower
display the minimum temperature since the last reset.
The temperature unit can be changed from °C to °F by the sliding switch at the back of the instrument.
To reset the MAX/MIN-memory to the present temperature press the RESET-button.
Because of the different measuring cycles the reset values and the current temperature are not always
identical.
Note: It is necessary to reset the MAX/MIN-memory after the insertion of a new battery and after the change
from °C to °F or from °F to °C.
Maintenance:
Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shock.
Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agent.
Please do not try to repair the unit. Contact the original point of purchase. Please change the battery
before complaining. No guarantee if the instrument is handled or opened improperly.
