SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please read these instructions thoroughly
before first use. Keep them in a safe place
so you can refer to them at any time. Please
follow all directions.
• This flash unit is intended solely for lighting
subjects for photographic purposes. It is
not to be used for any other purpose.
• The flash unit must never be activated in an
environment where flammable gases or
liquids (gasoline, solutions, etc.) are
present. DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
• Never trigger the flash unit in the immediate
vicinity of the eyes of people or animals.
This can cause retinal damage and severe
visual impairment – even blindness!
• Never use a flash unit to photograph car
drivers, bus drivers, motorcycle drivers or
train drivers, etc. while they are driving.
Blinding the driver could cause an accident!
• When taking continuous shots using flash
with full light output and short flash
recycling times, the reflector screen
becomes very hot due to the large amount
of light energy.
• You should therefore ensure a break of at
least 3 minutes after every 20 flashes!
• When activating a flash, no opaque material
should be located immediately in front of or
directly on the reflector cover. The reflector
cover must be soiled. Failure to observe this
rule may result in incineration of the
material or the reflector cover due to the
large amount of energy released by the
flash.
