Reassemble all parts.

Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.

Flush the appliance (see section 'Flushing the

appliance' below).
4.1 Flushing the appliance
Note:
D
Do not put a filter and ground coffee in the filter
holder.
Remove the 2-in-1 loader from the housing

by placing one hand on top of the appliance
and pulling out the 2-in-1 loader with the
other hand.
Fill the water tank with fresh cold water up to

the 8 cups indication.
Place the 2-in-1 loader back into the housing

until you hear a click.
Place the jug into the appliance.

Make sure you place the jug with the spout
facing into the appliance.
Press the on/off button to switch on the

appliance.
• The power-on light goes on.
Let the appliance operate until all the water
6
has run into the jug.
Glass jug: Press the on/off button to switch off
7
the appliance. Let it cool down for at least 3
minutes before you start brewing coffee.
