the screws slightly and re-tighten after
adjusting (1, Fig.13).
3. Attach the washer and insert the safety split
pin (1, Fig.16) using pliers, bend the ends of
the split pin.
5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: Use the machine solely for
move snow. Any other use is considered
prohibited and shall void the warranty
and manufacturer's liability, leaving the
user liable for costs deriving from
damage or injury to the user or to
others.
PERMITTED USES
The snow thrower is a single-axis self-propelled
machine equipped with a rotary unit (rotor) for
move snow.
The machine is controlled by an operator at
ground level who follows the movement of the
machine, steering it using a handlebar on which
the majority of the controls are located.
WARNING: always hold the machine with
both hands when the engine is running.
Use a firm grip with thumbs and fingers
encircling the machine handgrips.
PROHIBITED USES
- Do not use the machine at night under any
circumstances.
- Do not use the machine to shred building
materials, plastics, metals or refuse in
general.
- Do not use the machine to break up fence
posts, walls, garden features and/or trees.
- Do not connect the machine to ropes or
hoists for lifting.
- Never operate a machine without its
safety systems.
- Never use the machine to push or as a
means of traction for accessories (e.g.
towing). In accordance with current
d i r e c t i v e s , i t i s p r o h i b i t e d t o f i t
implements and/or accessories for
transpor ting the operator or other
people! Never use the machine to
transport people and/or objects.
- Do not connect the machine to equipment
not envisaged by the manufacturer.
- Only use the machine in well-ventilated
places, do not operate it in explosive or
flammable atmospheres or in enclosed
environments. Beware of the risk of carbon
monoxide poisoning.
- Do not use the machine on unstable,
slippery, icy, stony or rough ground, or on
waterlogged or swampy terrain that make it
difficult to ascertain the consistency of the
soil. Never use the machine on uneven
surfaces such as paving or steps.
- The machine is designed for use by one
operator at a time.
- Do not operate the machine with one
hand. Serious injury to the operator, helpers,
bystanders, or any combination of these
persons may result from one -handed
operation. The machine is intended for
two-handed use.
- Do not have the machine checked by
anyone else while you are driving it with
the engine running.
- Do not use the machine on the roofs.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Exercise extreme cautions when operating
on or crossing gravel drives, walks or roads.
Stay alert for hidden hazards or traffic.
- If the unit should start to vibrate abnormally,
stop the engine and check immediately for
the cause. Vibration is generally a warning of
the presence of drawbacks.
- Never operate the snow thrower near glass
enclosures, automobiles, window, opening,
etc., without proper adjustment of the snow
discharge angle. Keep children and pets
away.
- Do not overload the machine capacity by
attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate.
- Never operate the machine at high transport
speeds on slippery surfaces. Use care when
reversing.
- Disengage power to the auger when snow
thrower is transported or not in use.
- Never operate the snow thrower without
good visibility or light suitable.
