ENERAL INFORMATION
This manual includes information on the installation
of Coin Timers with display for showers: CT4Xw,
CT6Xw, CT8Xw here onwards indicated by the
term CTx. For configuration and use please see the
appropriate manual.
The CTx Coin Timer is a coin or token timer useful
for offering one or more pay shower services.
The CTx comes with a separate relay unit with
12Vdc outputs for directly controlling the solenoid
valves which regulate the flow of water.
1.1 Symbols used in the manual
Parts of the text which are of particular importance
in regards to the safety or proper use of the product
are indicated by the following symbols:

1.2 CTx Versions
The CTx comes in 2 versions, which can be
selected upon ordering:
1. CTx version 100-240V is directly powered
with a voltage of 100-240V. When used for
showers, regulation IEC60364-7 allows it to
be installed in "Zone 3" on the condition that
the device is powered by a residual current
circuit breaker with a 30mA threshold. For
greater safety we advise that this version be
installed in "Zone 4", and that a power
supply 12Vdc be used in "Zone 3". See Fig.
1 and Fig. 2 for identification of the zones.
2. CTx version 12Vdc is powered with a 12Vdc
voltage. This version is suitable for installing
the CT1w in places where a safety extra-low

voltage
If used for showers, regulation IEC60364-7
allows the CT1w to be installed in "Zone 3".
It comes provided with an external power
supply with 100-240V input, which should be
placed inside an electrical panel in "Zone 4"
where the use of such voltage is permitted. A
power supply device placed in "Zone 4"
should, nevertheless, be powered by a
residual current circuit breaker with a 30 mA
threshold.
