Young children may be injured by tipping furniture and the use of a tipping restraint is highly recommended. This
hardware, when properly installed, could provide protection against unexpected tipping of furniture due to improper
use.
Un meuble qui bascule peut blesser de jeunes enfants. C'est pourquoi il est fortement conseillé d'utiliser un
dispositif de retenue antibasculement. Cet accessoire, s'il est correctement installé, offre une protection contre le
basculement imprévu d'un meuble en raison d'une mauvaise utilisation.

1. Attach the strap securely to the back edge of the furniture using the shorter screw and washer.
1. Fixez solidement la sangle au bord arrière du meuble à l'aide de la vis courte et d'une rondelle.
2. Determine where the furniture will be placed and mark the wall a little bit above the shorter screw on the furniture.
2. Déterminez l'emplacement du meuble et marquez le mur légèrement au-dessus de la vis courte fixée au
meuble.
3. Drill a 3/16" hole in the wall. Press the plastic anchor into the hole and gently tap until the flange on the anchor
is against the wall surface.
3. Percez un trou de 4,7 mm (3/16 po) dans le mur. Pressez la cheville d'ancrage en plastique dans le trou et
enfoncez-la en tapant légèrement jusqu'à ce que son rebord soit appuyé contre la surface du mur.
4. Align the other end of strap to the plastic anchor and use the longer screw and washer to securely attach the
strap to the wall.

5. Place the furniture so that the shorter screw on the back edge is in line with the longer screw on the wall.

6. Check to make sure the strap is securely laced and attached to the furniture and wall.
