ROLLING-CODE
The TANGO range normally uses a standard coding system.
For an inviolable system, the variable "rolling-code" option may be used.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Receiver. Insert a jumper on the small connector RC (part 4 and fig.4).
- Transmitter. Keep button C1 pressed down and at the same time
press button C2 four times. The led on the radio control will give short
blinks, showing that the code has been changed.
When transmitting thereafter with the radio control, the led will give
a final short blink showing that the rolling-code system is in opera-
tion. To reset the standard code, remove the jumper RC on the receiv-
er and repeat the above-described procedure on the transmitter.
ANTENNA
To improve reception and range of radio remote controls, installation of
theproper antenna is recommended.
For best results the antenna should be fixed as high as possible to fair-
ly large metal supports, such as gutters, railings, etc., but should not be
sheltered by them.
A cable with an impedance of 50 ohms (e.g. RG58) is recommended for
connecting the antenna and receiver. This cable should not exceed 10
metres in length.
FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Always cut off the power supply before wiring up or changing con-
nections.
2. For outdoor installations, the receiver should be adequately protected
according to the real environmental conditions.
3. Requests for 24LC04 or 24LC16 storage should always be made with
"for TANGO range receivers" clearly specified.
