1. Place the device on a stable surface.
Use
CAUTION!
•
Never aim steam directly at people, animals or plants. This can cause severe scald-
ing.
•
Only ever touch the device by the handles and not by the hose during operation. The
hose can become very hot during use. There is a danger of scalding!
•
Always work with suffi cient lighting.
•
Make sure that you do not trip over the mains cable when using the device.
•
Never use the device without water!
•
Never use the device on cold glass surfaces or at outside temperatures of below
10°C. The hot steam could cause the glass to shatter.
•
Always try cleaning fi rst at a small, inconspicuous spot.
•
Never direct the steam at one spot for too long.
•
The water reservoir must not be opened during use. Keep the reservoir cap closed
at all times.
•
Water may emerge from the attachment when you fi rst start using it. This is
normal and does not constitute a defect with the device.
•
As the hose (11) of the device has to fi ll with steam, you may need to press
the steam release button (20) several times when you start using it before
steam starts emerging.
1. Attach the attachment of your choice as well as the carrying strap (4) to the device
(see the "Assembly" chapter) and fi ll the water reservoir (17) (see the "Filling the
Water Reservoir" chapter).
2. Hang the carrying strap around your shoulders or hips. For this purpose, it is equipped
with a plug fastener and its length can be adjusted.
3. Insert the mains plug (14) into a properly installed plug socket that is easily acces-
sible.
4. Turn the On/Off switch / steam quantity control (16) to start generating steam. The
control lamp (15) lights up red.
5. Wait until the control lamp lights up blue. Operating temperature has then been
reached and you can start cleaning: Press the steam release button (20) and as you
do so move the attachment over the surface which is to be cleaned.

2. Twist the reservoir cap (13) towards the
symbol and remove it.
3. Use the measuring cup (5) provided to pour a
maximum of 900 ml of tap water into the wa-
ter reservoir (17).
4. Insert the reservoir cap and twist it towards
the
symbol. Make sure that it is fi rmly
sealed shut.
