When placing the appliance on the counter,
place it on a level, heat-resistant surface
using the counter rest. Let the power cord
hang down to stabilise the appliance.
Tip: Allow hair to cool completely before
styling.
Give your hair extra volume by running your
fingers through the curls.
For more natural looking curls, you can also
use the curling tong as a hairdresser would
with the clip closed.
Hold the strand of hair by its tip and wrap it
in a spiral around the closed curling tong.

Leave the curling tong in the hair for a few
seconds to shape the curl.
Then let go of the section of hair.
Tip: For a more modern look, don't wrap
the section of hair starting at the roots.
Instead, leave the first few centimetres
straight.

Ionisation
This appliance comes with Quattro-Ion
Technology (4 ion outlets) with Shine
Boost Power. Ions are electrically loaded
particles that exist in the air, which are
created by an ion generator in the appli-
ance. Thanks to the quadruple ionisa-
tion of the Quattro-Ion curling tong with its
extra wide ion current, the static charging,
i. e. the frizzing of hair, is visibly reduced
(anti-static effect). The result: noticeably
softer hair that is easier to comb and has
an intensive, silky shine. The ionisation
can be switched on/off with button 3 at any
temperature setting. The LED light strip 4
lights up red as soon as the ionisation is
switched on.
Automatic shut-off
For safety reasons, this appliance is
equipped with an automatic shut-off
f unction.
The appliance automatically switches off
approx. 40 minutes after it has been switched
on or the ring switch 1 has been activated.
Information:
To switch the appliance back on, push the
ring switch 1 to any of the temperature
s ettings. The appliance heats up again.
