► Use a STIHL flat crosscut file to sharpen each cutting edge
on the upper blade. The file only sharpens on the forward
stroke. Maintain the prescribed sharpening angle,
@ 17.2.
► Turn the hedge trimmer over.
► File the remaining cutting edges.
► Deburr each cutting edge from below.
► Turn the hedge trimmer over.
► Deburr the remaining cutting edges.
► Use a damp cloth to remove the filing dust.
► If you have any queries: Contact your STIHL servicing
dealer.
The cutting blades cannot be repaired by the user.
► If the cutting blades are damaged: Contact your STIHL
servicing dealer.

The battery requires no servicing and cannot be repaired.
► If the battery has a malfunction or is damaged: Replace the
battery.

The charger requires no servicing and cannot be repaired.

► If the connecting cable has a malfunction or is damaged:
Have the connecting cable repaired by a qualified
