3. Assembly

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When received from the Manufacturer, the wheels are in a raised position. Do not switch on the product
before removing from the raised (1A) position into position 5 (1B) .
Assembling the lower handle to the lawnmower
1. Pull the lower handle bolt (2A) until it locks into position.
2. Place the Spring (3A) and the Pivot Block (4A) over the Bolt
Repeat for the other side.
3. Insert the Barrel Nut (5A) into the Cam Lock (5B).
4. Ensuring the Lower Handle is in the correct position (6), insert the Lower Handle on to the Bolt until it is firmly fitted
into the Pivot Block.
5. Place the Washer (7A) and Cam Lock (7B) on to the Bolt and turn the Cam Lock 2 times clockwise (8). Fold out
the Cam Lock and turn clockwise (9), until tightening is felt.
6. Fold down the Cam Lock towards the handle (10). If the Cam Lock isn't tightened: open the Cam Lock, turn
the Cam Lock one more time and fold down the Cam Lock until the handle is secure.
7. The Cam Lock can be unlocked and locked (11).
Repeat for the other side.
8. Insert the two Lower handle plugs (12) into the top of each of the Lower handles.
Assembling the upper handle to the lower handles
1. Insert the Barrel Nut (5A) into the Cam Lock (5B).
2. Attach the Upper Handle (13A) to the Lower Handle (13B) with the Round Headed Bolt (13C), Washer
(13D) and Cam Lock (13E).
3. Turn the Cam Lock clockwise until a slight tension is felt (14).
4. Fold down the Cam Lock towards the Handle (15). If the Cam Lock isn't tightened: open the Cam Lock,
turn the Cam Lock one more time and fold down the Cam Lock until the handle is secure.
5. The Cam Lock can be unlocked and locked (16).
Repeat for the other side.

Fit the cable to the handle with the clips provided (17).
Assembling the grassbox
1. Locate the grassbox handle (18A) into the slots in the grassbox upper (18B) and push until it clicks into
position.
2. Looking at the underside of the lid ensure the clips (19A) of the grassbox handle are securely located.
3. Locate the the grassbox halves together (20) by aligning the clips Ensure all clips are correctly located
before clicking into position.
4. Locate the grassbox lid onto the assembled grassbox (21) by aligning the clips. Ensure all clips are
correctly located before clicking into position.
Fitting fully assembled grassbox to lawnmower
1. Lift safety flap (22A).
2. Make sure the discharge chute is clean and free from debris (22B).
3. Locate fully assembled grassbox onto 2 location points (22C) at the rear of the deck.
4. Locate safety flap onto the top of the grassbox. Ensure the grassbox is securely located.
IMPORTANT !
AFTER FITTING ENSURE NO GAP REMAINS BETWEEN THE SAFETY FLAP AND THE GRASSBOX.
• Removal is the reverse procedure.
For larger areas of grass where grass collection is not required you can use your lawnmower without the grassbox.
Ensure the Safety Flap is fully closed. The design of the safety flap permits the cut grass to be discharged
downward behind the machine.
